SMS / Text Messaging Policy (A2P 10DLC)

Program Description

LegalScapes may send SMS and MMS text messages to contacts who have voluntarily opted in to receive communications from us. Message types include, but are not limited to: appointment and strategy call reminders, follow-up messages related to our marketing services, educational content, promotional offers, and transactional notifications related to your engagement with LegalScapes.

How We Collect Your Phone Number and Obtain Consent

We collect your mobile phone number only when you voluntarily provide it — for example, by submitting a contact form, scheduling a free strategy call, or otherwise engaging with our services. By providing your phone number and affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages (such as by checking a consent checkbox), you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from LegalScapes at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of any LegalScapes service.

At the point of opt-in, we clearly disclose: (a) the LegalScapes brand name, (b) the nature and purpose of the messages you will receive, (c) that message frequency may vary, (d) that standard message and data rates may apply, and (e) how to opt out at any time.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and the services you have requested. You may receive up to a few messages per month. We will never send unsolicited bulk promotional messages.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. LegalScapes does not charge any additional fees for SMS communications.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages from LegalScapes at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. We also honor the keywords UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. Upon receipt of a valid opt-out keyword, we will send you a single confirmation message and will not send any further text messages unless you choose to re-subscribe.

How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at hello@legalscapes.com. We will respond promptly to all support inquiries.

Data Use and Sharing Restrictions

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data collected for our text messaging program are used solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive. We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent to any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers may be shared with our SMS platform provider (acting as a service provider on our behalf) solely for the purpose of message delivery, and such providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Mobile carriers (including but not limited to T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier network availability and conditions beyond our control.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and regional carriers. Carrier support may vary.
